What You'll Do as a Senior Support Worker
* Be a positive role model to the children and your team, leading by example with empathy, consistency, and integrity
* Take an active role in creating and maintaining a safe, stimulating environment
* Support children who may have experienced trauma, with behaviours that challenge with compassion and strength
* Contribute to and lead on key working, risk assessments and care planning
* Guide and mentor junior staff, promoting best practice across the home
* Assist the Registered Manager and Deputy in ensuring high standards, policy compliance, and quality assurance

About You
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
* Solid knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations (2015) and Ofsted requirements
* Experience with children/young people with autism, learning disabilities, or behavioural challenges
* Resilient, calm under pressure, and skilled in de-escalation
* Confident communicator, strong team player, and IT proficient
* Willingness to work a shift pattern including weekends, evenings, and sleep-ins
