About Us
Nexus was established in 2016 through the merger of several local practices in North Southwark. We serve a patient population of 76,000 across 9 sites. Our goal is to provide excellent clinical services, recognizing the needs of our local community, and to foster a learning environment for staff. We are committed to clinical excellence, leadership, and governance, and are recognized as a training organization.
Our sites are well-connected by public transport, including London Bridge, Elephant & Castle, and Canada Water stations. We operate a single patient list, with patients attached to specific sites and cared for by multidisciplinary teams including GPs, nurses, Physician Associates, Paramedics, ANPs, and Pharmacists. These teams are supported by managers and administrative staff, as well as centralized HR, IT, Clinical Administration, and Senior Management.
All sites function as traditional practices with a Site Manager and GP partners. They are involved in training GPs and expanding to include other healthcare professionals such as nurses and PAs. Nexus collaborates closely with the local PCN, with two partners serving as Clinical Directors.
