Salon Manager
Job description/responsibilities
* Welcoming customers and ensuring they are comfortable.
* Using our online booking system to keep records of bookings made and customer details.
* Recommending and promoting salon products and services to boost sales.
* Implementing, supervising, and participating in salon cleaning practices in line with health and safety standards.
* Monitoring and maintaining appropriate stock levels of hair products, tools, and supplies, placing orders as needed.
* Overseeing front desk duties, including greeting clients, handling bookings, answering the phone, managing payments, and responding to enquiries.
* Handle staff training, development, and onboarding processes of new staff members.
* Monitoring retail performance and manage stock rotation/display, identifying opportunities for promotions and/or new services.
Qualifications/Requirements
* NVQ Level 2 in hairdressing/beauty preferred but not required
* Previous salon and management experience essential
* Previous experience as a salon manager or in a similar leadership role within the hair and beauty industry
* Good team player
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Engaging personality
* The ability to deliver an excellent level of customer service
* Computer literate
* Self-motivated
* Flexible
