Senior Estates Operations Manager – London South East Colleges
London and South East Colleges is seeking a Senior Estates Operations Manager to lead facilities operations across the assigned site and collaborate with a team of Estates Operations Managers. The role focuses on both Hard and Soft FM, overseeing repairs, maintenance, remedial works, and statutory compliance to ensure college campuses remain safe and operational for learning activities.
Responsibilities
* Provide Hard FM technical assistance and support across campuses.
* Respond to critical equipment failures to maintain business continuity and support other Estates Operations Managers as required.
Qualifications
* Ensure all works comply with Building Regulations, Building Controls, CIBSE, Electricity at Work Act, IEE regulations, Health and Safety at Work Act, and other applicable legislation or directives.
* Align statutory compliance with SFG20 standards and BSRIA recommendations.
* Demonstrate strong health and safety knowledge.
* Apply CDM regulations and HSE codes of practice when working on projects.
* Possess technical and practical skills in both Hard and Soft Services, including reactive minor repairs and knowledge of fixed assets, equipment and systems.
