Rate: £18.71 per hour (Umbrella)
Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Resident Liaison Officer to join a busy housing team based in Leatherhead on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service and communication skills who is passionate about delivering a positive resident experience throughout planned maintenance and refurbishment works.
The successful candidate will act as the key point of contact between residents, contractors, and site teams, ensuring residents are kept fully informed before, during, and after works are completed.
Key Responsibilities
1. Build and maintain positive relationships with residents and stakeholders
2. Provide clear communication regarding planned works, schedules, and any disruptions
3. Carry out resident consultations, home visits, and satisfaction surveys
4. Handle resident enquiries, complaints, and concerns professionally and efficiently
5. Work closely with site managers, operatives, and client teams to ensure smooth delivery of works
6. Ensure vulnerable residents receive additional support where required
7. Maintain accurate records, reports, and resident communication logs
8. Assist with access arrangements and minimise no-access issues
9. Monitor customer satisfaction and help drive service improvements
Requirements
10. Previous experience working as a Resident Liaison Officer, Tenant Liaison Officer, or within social housing/customer service
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
12. Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
13. Ability to manage difficult situations calmly and professionally
14. Experience handling complaints and resident queries
15. Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
16. Full UK driving licence
