Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm
Working pattern: Office-based initially (flexible hybrid working 1 day a week after training)

Administrator / Junior Estimator Responsibilities:
As an Administrator / Junior Estimator, youll work closely with experienced estimators and project managers, supporting the full tendering and costing process. Youll gain hands-on experience analysing drawings, evaluating project specifications, and preparing accurate cost estimates, developing commercial and technical skills that will set you up for a rewarding career in construction estimating or project management.
* Supporting the estimating team with project research, cost breakdowns, and bid preparation
* Analysing technical drawings, layouts, and specifications
* Obtaining and comparing supplier quotes for materials, labour, and equipment
* Using Microsoft Excel and estimating software to prepare cost summaries and reports
* Collaborating with senior estimators to learn best practices and industry standards
* Gradually taking ownership of estimates as your knowledge grows
Administrator / Junior Estimator Skills:

* A degree or background in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
* Strong analytical and numerical skills with a keen eye for detail
* Confidence using Microsoft Excel and technical data
