HR Business Partner / Generalist – EMEA
Location: London (Negotiable salary)
Schedule: Hybrid 2-3 days in office and Flexi working hours

Role Overview
As the HR Generalist/BP for EMEA, you'll be the go-to HR expert supporting and advising our people, ensuring operational excellence, compliance and a high-performance culture. Based in London with a hybrid model, you'll partner with leaders and employees across multiple countries (UK, Germany) to deliver seamless HR support, partnering with Regional Stakeholders to advise and drive engagement, best practices and a stay ahead in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Compliance
Serve as the first point of contact for HR queries across EMEA, advising on policies, employment law (UK essential; Germany a plus) and best practices
Ensure compliance with local labour laws and maintain up-to-date HR policies for all EMEA jurisdictions
Stay up to date and advise on Visa/RTW considerations
Manage HRIS data integrity, employee records, audits and ensuring accuracy and GDPR compliance
Employee Lifecycle & Engagement
Own end-to-end HR processes: onboarding, probation and performance reviews, promotions and development plans and offboarding
Support performance review cycles, engagement initiatives and wider People Team initiatives (EVP, Employer Branding, ESG etc)
Payroll & Benefits Coordination
Liaise with payroll providers and finance teams to ensure accurate monthly payroll processing
Monitor local market trends regarding compensation and benefits, advising on competitive offerings
Employee Relations & Projects
Handle ER cases with discretion, providing fair and consistent guidance on grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
Support implementation of global and regional HR projects (e.g., wellbeing programmes, employee engagement surveys)
Partner with the wider Support Team to foster a high-performance, inclusive culture
Embed within the Leadership team and support on driving your Home” office culture
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of UK employment law; knowledge of/exposure to German employment law is a plus
Experience of UK Sponsorship process highly desirable
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities working in a collaborative manner
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities - solutions oriented
Technologically savvy; experience with HRIS tools and MS Office
Adaptable, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Culturally aware and inclusive in communication and HR practices

Qualifications & Experience
3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or HRBP role, in a regional or international context
CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) or working toward it is preferred
Experience in a recruitment, staffing or sales based environment is preferred
Experience working in a predominantly Early Careers environment where soft skills development is key
