The Headteacher and governing body of a reputable Primary School on the outskirts of Preston and Garstang are looking for a practitioner to join their fantastic EYFS team to provide support to pupils in Reception.
1. The working hours for this role are 8:45-15:15, Monday to Friday, term time only, with 30 minutes for lunch.
2. The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, confident, and able to support and inspire young children, fostering their enthusiasm for learning within Early Years.
3. The candidate should have a minimum of Level 2 childcare-related qualification; graduates are also welcome to apply, especially those seeking further school-based experience.
4. The role includes responsibilities such as guided reading and delivering phonics sessions to small groups.

This is a lovely one-form entry Primary School serving a pleasant catchment area on the outskirts of Preston. Children join eager to learn, and pupil behavior is exemplary. The EYFS unit is led by an experienced Reception Class Teacher, and the school has strong parental support and a well-respected Headteacher. The school has been oversubscribed for several years.
