Position: Caretaker
Contract Type: Temporary
Location: School Environment
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm
Pay Rate: £13.12 per hour
Duration: Starting Monday, 6th October 2025, for 2 weeks
Key Responsibilities:
As a Caretaker, you will play a vital role in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students and staff. Your responsibilities will include:
Furniture Handling: Assist with moving and setting up furniture for various school events and needs.
Cleaning Duties: Perform routine cleaning of communal areas, including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal to maintain a tidy atmosphere.
Gate Work: Open and close gates at designated times, monitoring access as necessary to ensure security.
Support Tasks: Provide general assistance around the premises, acting as a "willing pair of hands" wherever needed.
General Maintenance: Carry out basic repairs and maintenance tasks as required, helping to keep the school facilities in top condition.Requirements: To succeed in this role, you must have an enhanced DBS check for schools. This is essential to ensure the safety and security of our students.
