As part of our continued investment in vocational excellence, we are expanding our Construction and Building Services provision and are seeking a passionate, skilled, and forward-thinking individual to join our team at the Weymouth Campus.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of Electrical Installation, supporting both Further Education and apprenticeships. We are looking for a dynamic lecturer who brings a strong foundation of industry experience and a commitment to inspiring the next generation of electrical professionals.
About the Role
As an Electrical Installations Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality practical and theoretical instruction to a diverse range of learners. You will play a key role in preparing students for industry placements, supporting apprentices and future employment, while also supporting the development of a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
•Delivering engaging and industry-relevant lessons aligned with the Electrical curriculum.
•Supporting learners with hands-on training and theoretical knowledge.
•Preparing and maintaining classroom & workshop environments, equipment, and resources.
•Collaborating with colleagues and employers to ensure curriculum relevance and quality.

Salary:
Up to £35,295 per annum - (plus potential to add a market supplement of up to £5,000 dependant on skills, competencies, and qualifications) The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified Electrician with an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation & be JIB Approved or hold a ECS Gold card.
