We are currently recruiting Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers in the Benfleet area.
Superior Healthcare provides round-the-clock care packages to support people living with long-term health conditions to live in the comfort and safety of their own homes.
As a Community Healthcare Assistant, you join our complex care team and will work long-term with one or a small number of clients. You will benefit from a fixed rota with the option of overtime.
We are ideally looking for carers, support workers, and healthcare assistants who are keen to work full-time hours; however, part-time roles are also offered.
How we’ll support you:
Superior Healthcare will provide full, paid classroom-based training when you join us, along with paid induction shifts and ongoing supervision support from our in-house team of nurses and supervisors.
If a client’s needs require extra skills (e.g., assistance with nutritional requirements), we will provide paid, specialist training to ensure you can confidently support their needs and develop your skills.
If you are eager to build rapport with one or a small number of clients within your local community, broaden your skills, and enjoy the consistency of work, we hope to hear from you!
Shifts: 12-hour Days and Nights.

Responsibilities
* Closely observe and monitor clients for clinical intervention
* Be friendly, engaging, and have great conversations with clients about their interests
* Advocate for clients, working in their best interest in accordance with our policies
* Assist with moving and handling, including the use of equipment like hoists
* Show dignity and respect when providing personal care
* Follow care plans written by the Nurse Manager to ensure person-centred care
Requirements
* 6 months of professional care experience in the UK healthcare setting
* Experience working with complex care clients
* Flexible and available for short-notice shifts, including weekends
* Availability for day, night, and weekend shifts
* Blue Light Card – we’ll pay for it
* Willingness to enroll onto a Level 2 to Level 5 diploma
