A passionate and knowledgeable Science Teacher with a genuine enthusiasm for Physics is sought to join the dynamic and forward-thinking Science department of an Outstanding mixed school in Enfield. This is a permanent full-time opportunity commencing in September, ideal for an educator eager to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16) and foster a deep understanding of the physical world.
Responsibilities
* You will craft and deliver engaging Science lessons, igniting curiosity in Physics and demonstrating its real-world applications.
* The role involves expertly guiding students through the intricacies of physical concepts, adhering to a well-structured and challenging curriculum.
* You will cultivate a vibrant and inquiry-based learning environment, encouraging students to explore, question, and develop their scientific reasoning skills.
* You will assess and monitor student progress in Science (Physics) with precision, providing insightful feedback that empowers them to achieve their full potential.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Physics or Science with a strong Physics background is essential.
* Experience teaching engaging and effective Science lessons with a focus on Physics at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable.
* A deep and current understanding of physical principles, coupled with the ability to make the subject accessible and exciting, is expected.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, alongside strong classroom management, are vital to creating a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
