Business Development Manager – Energy & Building Optimisation
Location: Hybrid (Home/Office/Visiting Clients)
Salary: Up to £60,000 + quarterly bonus + benefits

The Role
We’re looking for a passionate and proactive Business Development Manager to join our growing Energy & Building Optimisation division. You’ll lead the full sales process—from generating leads to closing deals—working with clients to understand their energy goals and deliver tailored, high-impact solutions.
Your focus will be on helping organisations reduce energy consumption and costs through:
* Energy monitoring, analysis, and management services
* Onsite and remote BEMS solutions
* Advanced optimisation tools, including digital twins and diagnostics software
You'll also work with existing key accounts and strategic partners to develop bespoke offerings that support their decarbonisation and commercial objectives.
What We’re Looking For
* Background in energy, BEMS, smart buildings, or sustainability
* Proven sales or business development experience
* Passion for energy efficiency and carbon reduction
* Confident in building relationships, identifying opportunities, and managing the full sales cycle
* Comfortable with hybrid working and travel to client sites across the UK
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and develop new business opportunities through existing clients, partnerships, and direct outreach
* Engage with customers to understand needs and propose tailored optimisation solutions
* Manage and close sales opportunities, ensuring a smooth customer experience
* Collaborate with internal teams to deliver effective, integrated solutions
* Monitor market trends and provide insight to shape future offerings
