What you will do:
1. Manage and lead a team of social workers, supervising daily operations and ensuring timely completion of Form K assessments for kinship foster carers and prospective special guardians.
2. Provide high-quality support services to kinship carers, children, and families, ensuring their needs are met.
3. Collaborate with social work teams, carers, families, and multi-agency partners to enhance support services.
4. Oversee assessments, support plans, and reviews for carers and families, ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance.
5. Manage team resources and budgets effectively to improve service delivery.
6. Supervise and develop social work staff to foster growth and expertise.
7. Maintain accurate records, plans, and reports in line with statutory requirements.
8. Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
