Role Overview
As a Housing Officer in our Supported living scheme, you will deliver a high‑quality, customer‑focused housing management service to Supported Housing tenants under the guidance of the Neighbourhood and Communities Team Leader.
You’ll ensure compliance with housing policies, legal standards, regulatory requirements, including those set by the social housing regulator, housing ombudsman and safeguarding frameworks.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience working within the social housing sector and knowledge of supported housing issues.
* Resilient, professional approach to problem solving and contract dispute resolution with customers, ensuring compliance is maintained.
* Competent in Microsoft Office and housing management systems such as Orchard.
* Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with people at all levels.
* Ability to manage your own workload, adapting to changing priorities.
* Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
* Strong knowledge of social housing legislation including tenant satisfaction measures, regulatory standards, complaints, service charge legislation and safeguarding.
* Willingness to work towards housing related qualifications.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
