Job Description:

ER Specialist (You must have extensive employee relations experience)

Location: Luton

Type: Hybrid, 40K

Our client, a global Managed Services and Specialist Staffing provider, is looking for an ER Partner to join their growing team. The role involves providing customer-focused, responsive, accurate, and pragmatic HR advice and support to managers, employees, and flexible workers, in line with company policies, internal procedures, and legal requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

* Advice and Guidance: Advising managers on Employee Relations matters, case management of disciplinary, grievance, absence, TUPE, redundancy, and ACAS cases, developing relationships to promote good employee relations, providing support on client calls, and ensuring policy updates.
* Case Management: Managing Employee Relations cases, drafting related documents, supporting ACAS early conciliation cases, facilitating occupational health referrals, and managing query systems.
* Technology and HR Systems: Data management, report generation, accurate case recording, policy accessibility, and GDPR compliance.
* Relationship Management: Building relationships with managers, HR Business Partners, and colleagues, and liaising with HR teams.
* Change Management: Supporting organizational change, advising on restructuring, and keeping up-to-date with employment legislation.
* Projects: Collaborating with the People team on departmental objectives and reviewing Employee Relations materials.


Experience and Skills:

* HR Advisory experience with a focus on Employee Relations and Employment Legislation
* Proven case management skills
* Knowledge of employment legislation, GDPR, and HR systems
* Strong organizational, judgment, and decision-making skills
* Excellent customer service, communication, and influencing skills
* Experience in corporate or professional services sectors
* Understanding of TUPE and redundancy processes
