If you’re looking for a role where you actually see the impact of your work day to day, this is it.
You’ll be supporting students with autism and complex needs in a specialist setting designed around them - smaller classes, more support, and a real focus on progress beyond just academics.
This isn’t a “stand at the back of the class” role.
You’ll be:
* Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups
* Helping with communication, behaviour and routines
* Working closely with a team that understands SEN properly
The setting also offers access to specialist facilities like sensory spaces, hydrotherapy and outdoor-based learning, giving you exposure you won’t get in a mainstream environment.
Trial days available post Easter – the school is ready to meet people now
All applicants will be subject to safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS (Update Service preferred), references and right to work.
If you’re patient, proactive and want to build real experience in SEN, this is a strong place to start or develop further.
