About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will play a vital role in supporting pupils' academic, emotional, and social development. Working alongside class teachers, you’ll help deliver engaging lessons, provide targeted support to students, and contribute to maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere. Key Responsibilities:
* Assist teachers in preparing and delivering lessons.
* Offer one-to-one or small-group support to pupils where needed.
* Promote a safe and inclusive environment that encourages learning.

* Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
* Supervise children during non-classroom activities, such as break or lunch.
Candidate Profile:
* Experience working with children or young people in an educational, childcare, or community setting.
* A good understanding of the primary curriculum.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with pupils, staff, and parents.
* A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach to working with children, particularly those who require additional support.
* The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and take direction from class teachers and senior staff.
* Recent graduates and those seeking school-based experience before pursuing teacher training are strongly encouraged to apply
* Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
