An exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of Consultant in the Diabetes and Endocrinology service in Bolton. This fixed term role is to support the service achieve elective recovery programme.
Main duties of the job
This opportunity will involve working as part of a team responsible for assessing and treating patients in inpatients and outpatient settings.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Bolton's Endocrinology and Diabetes service. You will work alongside a friendly, supportive, and professional integrated team comprising of Consultants, Specialist Nurses, Dietitians, Podiatrists and Clinical Health Psychology to provide a safe, effective and efficient care environment for patients, relatives and carers.

* Basic Medical Qualification

* M.R.C.P.
Qualification
* On the Specialist Register in Diabetes and endocrinology or within six months of entry at time of application
Membership
* Membership of Association of Clinical Diabetologists
Training
* Significant experience of Acute Medicine
Audit
* Participation in Clinical Audit
Research
* Research experience and Publications
Driving licence
* Current Driving Licence/Use of car for work
* Able to participate in on call rota
