Engineer (Improvements)
Norfolk County Council – Permanent Contract – 37 hours per week – £37,280 to £39,152 per annum (Scale I) – County Hall, Norwich
Responsibilities
* Support the Programme Engineer in developing the Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP) pipeline of feasibility studies.
* Assist in the implementation of the Highway Capital Programme within allocated budgets, managing a portfolio of projects ranging from small maintenance schemes to major projects.
* Help form proposals that support internal and external funding opportunities, securing funding from the Department for Transport and other sources.
* Demonstrate experience in the development of highway proposals, project and financial management.
* Collaborate with the team to deliver solutions, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.

* Experience in highway proposals and project and financial management.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player.
