Claims Handler – Stourbridge team, hybrid role (2 days in Stourbridge, 1 day in Birmingham).
Role and Responsibilities
Handle commercial claims from start to finish, demonstrating expertise in insurance policies, coverage types, and claims procedures.
Accurately evaluate and process claims within specified timelines and guidelines to ensure smooth resolution.
Collaborate closely with internal teams and external vendors to facilitate timely and efficient claims resolution.
Apply analytical skills to analyse claims data, identify trends, and develop strategies to reduce risk and improve claims management processes.
Foster positive relationships with clients, brokers, insurers, and industry partners, focusing on customer satisfaction.
Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to drive innovation in claims handling.
Present reports and presentations highlighting key performance indicators to stakeholders.
Conduct on‑site visits to clients in the event of a loss, investigate circumstances, and build robust claims for swift and favorable conclusions.
Negotiate with insurers to secure the best possible settlement terms under the policy, showcasing advocacy skills.

Qualifications
