About The Post
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Council's Safer Neighbourhood Service. If you thrive in a busy, interesting, and rewarding environment and can provide a solid contribution to making a real difference we would like to hear from you. Duties of the post include but are not limited to supporting a range of internal and external customers, responding to emails, telephone and face to face enquiries, general administration, basic finance, using digital applications and systems, as well as supporting a range of meetings and recording proceedings directly onto a laptop at speed and with accuracy.
The successful applicant will need to hold a level 2 qualification and have experience of working within a business support environment preferably with some knowledge of Safeguarding Adults and the work of the Safer Neighbourhood Services, but this is not essential. You must be flexible in your approach to ensure the overall service objectives are achieved, be an excellent team player and willing to make a solid contribution to the smooth running of the service.
You must be willing to undertake a police vetting process in line with local and national requirements.
You will be able to work effectively as part of a team, working together with colleagues and in partnership with a variety of internal and external stakeholders at a senior level.
