Responsibilities
* Manage criminal digital files in preparation for hearings
* Book interpreters, host video links, type orders and answer queries from the judiciary, professionals or the public (phone, post or email)
* Carry out a variety of general administrative duties to progress cases through the court/tribunal system or provide support to other HMCTS functions
Skills and Experience
* Friendly and approachable manner with good written and verbal communication skills
* Desire to deliver proactive and effective support to customers by phone and email
* Skilled in organising time, prioritising efficiently, multi‑tasking and adapting to various software packages
* Enjoy working in a busy environment and helping court users navigate the justice system
Working Arrangements & Further Information
Standard full time working hours are 37 hours per week. HMCTS welcomes part‑time, flexible and job‑sharing working patterns, provided they meet the demands of the role and business needs and are agreed prior to appointment. Occasional travel to other courts may be required for cover when needed. Saturday and bank holiday working may be required; an off‑day in lieu will be allocated. The role is office‑based and must be carried out in the UK.
