Overview
Aspire People are currently recruiting healthcare teaching assistants to work in a special needs school located in Scunthorpe.
Role and responsibilities
* Experience working in the care sector and using those skills within education.
* Work in KS1 and KS2; some personal care will be required (such as changing nappies when needed).
* Long-term contract with the option to extend or become permanent; start after the summer break.
* Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 15:30.
* Working one to one with students and collaboratively with the class teacher and other assistants.
* Developing social and cognitive development with pupils.
* Supportive senior leadership team.
Qualifications/Skills
* Experience in care or healthcare settings and interest in utilising those skills in education.
* Ability to work with students in a special needs setting and provide personal care as required.
Contract details
* Rolling contract with the option to extend or become permanent.
* Pay rate up to 107 per day.
