This role is ideal for someone who is caring, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting children and young people with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) and complex needs. About the Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside experienced teachers and therapists to create engaging, meaningful learning experiences for our pupils. Your day will be varied and rewarding — supporting communication, sensory learning, and personal development through a creative, child-centred approach. You’ll play an important role in: Encouraging each pupil’s independence and participation. Assisting with learning activities, therapies, and personal care routines. Supporting the emotional wellbeing and social development of pupils. Working closely with colleagues and families to ensure consistent, high-quality support. Hold, or are keen to work towards, a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or Health and Social Care).
