Key Responsibilities
* Own the product strategy and long term vision.
* Manage and prioritise the product backlogs.
* Key liaison between the business and IT teams.
* Change request management and cost/benefit analysis to ensure value for money.
* Contribution to requirements gathering, including review and sign-off.
* Lead the planning execution and management or User Acceptance testing activities.
* Ad hoc internal user assistance and troubleshooting.
* Optimise the value of development work undertaken and ensure all colleagues have sufficient understanding of product backlog items.
* Plan and communicate system cut-overs, business process changes, and user training. Ensure comprehensive support during and after go-live.
* Drive decisions based on data and insight model by defining and monitor KPIs for performance, reliability, and user satisfaction to ensure objectives are achieved.
* Establish and maintain strong stakeholder relationships both internally and externally, communicating the vision and roadmap regularly.

Person specification

Essential Criteria
* Experience of working in an Agile development environment, and knowledge of software development life cycles. (Lead criteria)
* Drive decisions based on data and insight models by defining and monitoring KPIs for performance, reliability and user satisfaction to ensure objectives are achieved. (Lead criteria)
* Proven organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders with conflicting needs and to plan, schedule and execute complex tasks.
* Experience in planning, executing and managing User Acceptance Testing activities.
* Formal Agile or Product Manager qualifications, or Product Manager experience.

Desirable Criteria
* Knowledge of energy industry and renewable energy or energy efficiency support schemes.
