We are seeking a committed KS2 Teacher to join a friendly and forward-thinking primary school in Nelson, starting ASAP. This is a temporary, full-time role providing long-term class cover within Key Stage 2. The school is well-regarded for its inclusive ethos, supportive leadership, and dedication to ensuring every child achieves their full potential.
Key responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and well-planned lessons across the KS2 curriculum
* Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing targeted support where needed
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support pupil development
* Contribute to the wider school community as required
Pre-requisites
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent primary teaching qualification
* Proven experience teaching xsngvjr within Key Stage 2
* Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and effective behaviour management strategies
* Two education or school-based references
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
