Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Field Service Engineer, located in Crawley. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing shredding and media destruction equipment for a range of clients. Key responsibilities include conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, delivering technical support, and ensuring timely and efficient customer service. The role requires strong problem‑solving skills, a commitment to safety standards, and effective communication with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Field Service operations, including installation, calibration, and repair of shredding and media destruction equipment.
* Strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to identify, diagnose, and resolve equipment malfunctions efficiently.
* Experience in Preventive Maintenance, ensuring the reliable operation and longevity of machinery and equipment.
* Excellent Customer Service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients in various industries.
* Understanding of safety protocols and the ability to maintain compliance with health and safety standards.
* Additional qualifications, such as a technical certification or degree in engineering or related fields, are advantageous.
