We are recruiting a Regional Talent Manager to lead our European Talent Acquisition team. Based in London, this pivotal role oversees the recruitment strategies for multiple brands, managing a talented team, and driving initiatives to attract and retain top talent across our European region. As the EU Talent Manager, you will lead both strategic and operational aspects of talent acquisition and management. Your role will include providing strategic oversight and hands-on management of recruitment and talent forecasting, ensuring alignment with business objectives and the seamless implementation of essential tools and processes.
Our European Region encompasses 26 countries. In this role, you will oversee the recruitment for all store, regional, and area team positions across COS, & Other Stories, Arket, and Weekday/Monki. Additionally, you will be responsible for recruiting and supporting talent management initiatives for various corporate roles, including: merchandising, digital marketing, e-commerce, PR, visual merchandising, and store operations. You will be supported by a team of over 15 Talent Acquisition colleagues, including the direct line manager responsibility for 3 TA leads located in various cities across Europe.
Due to the multi-brand nature of this role, you will report directly to the European Regional HR Manager for the COS brand, with a dotted line to the Global Talent Acquisition Manager overseeing all brands.
Responsibilities
1. Goal Setting: Establish clear, measurable goals for the region's talent acquisition team, ensuring continuous improvement and follow-up in achieving recruitment and talent management milestones.
2. Team Leadership: Lead a team of TA Leads, ensuring the talent acquisition function delivers on global and regional priorities. Recruit and retain a high-caliber team, conducting regular performance reviews, appraisals, reward reviews, and setting development goals.
3. KPI Analysis: Analyze and monitor recruitment and talent KPIs across the region. Identify areas of strength and opportunity, providing clear direction to each TA lead and ensuring appropriate actions are taken to advance the talent acquisition function.
4. End-to-End Recruitment: Oversee the recruitment process for senior management and regional roles, including CV screening and interview scheduling. Ensure candidates receive quality feedback and a positive experience throughout.
5. Onboarding: Partner with line managers and HR to ensure new starters are onboarded effectively, working with local ER and mobility teams to support colleagues relocating from other countries.
6. Budget Management: Work with Controllers to set the annual recruitment budget and ensure agency and advertising spend is within agreed parameters.
7. Tool and Process Development: Partner with the Global TA Manager to develop tools, materials, technology, and processes that meet business needs and candidate expectations.
8. Strategic Talent Planning: Collaborate with the Regional HR Manager to gather colleague performance data from annual dialogues and performance reviews. Analyze the results to identify potential headcount and skills gaps.
9. Performance Review Collaboration: Engage with regional function heads on a quarterly and annual basis to present performance review outcomes. Identify and implement proactive steps to recruit, develop, and retain the necessary talent for future needs.
10. Learning and Development Coordination: Partner with the learning and development team to address any skills gaps. Equip yourself with knowledge of available training programs to upskill existing colleagues. Use these insights to recommend further development opportunities that leaders can suggest, encourage, or mandate for their teams.
11. Coaching: Coach regional business leaders to champion the talent culture we want at H&M Group, inspired by our values, leadership, and TM principles.
Qualifications
* Experience: Managing others, budget planning, driving agile projects, and in-house TA leadership, ideally across multiple countries and territories.
* Skills: Stakeholder management, strategy design, project management, business acumen, change management, digital literacy, people analytics, operational planning, talent sourcing.
* Personal Characteristics: Communicative, analytical, resilient, decisive, and achievement-oriented.
