Job Title: Building Maintenance Technician (Electrician NVQ L3)

The Position:
We are currently recruiting for an Electrician to be based at our client site in Bromley.
As a predominantly Static Engineer you will be expected to carry out maintenance and repair works at our Bromley site, as required by the Facilities Supervisor and Workplace Manager. A pool van will be provided, and you may need to travel to other sites in your region to carry out maintenance/repair works, as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) work is carried out on the required date and all paperwork is sent electronically to the office to enable upload to the Client Portal.
Ensure Remedial and Reactive jobs are responded to and rectified within the SLA timescale.
Be a willing member of an on-call rota (usually 1 in 4), please see the renumeration detail in the bullet points below.
This will include:
* Maintain, evaluate and complete repair works within your skill set.
* Liaising with and supervising Sub-contractors.
* Update the CAFM Service Desk with all relevant information.
* Raise any additional works as a proactive involvement.
* Ensure open works are priority each morning.
* Be proactive around the building with delivering maintenance contract.
* Ensure that the correct spares are onsite for considered eventualities.
* Reduce the site visits of mobile engineering by being able to first time fix.
* Ensure you take all responsibility and ownership for each job.
* Ensure no jobs are passed back to the Helpdesk without an in-depth investigation.
* Be part of an on-call rota (usually 1 in 4). Retainer of £150 weekly for being on-call, + £50 per call out + Inflated hourly rate if called out, door to door.
The Candidate:
* Must be a fully qualified Electrician
* Experience of Commercial Electrical Installation Works
* Experience of Emergency Lighting Systems
* Experience in a similar role essential
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Great communication skills
* Very well organised
* Team player
