Are you looking for the next step in your healthcare career? Could this be the training opportunity and role you have been looking for?
Within NHS Tayside we are expanding opportunities for Health Care Support Workers to develop.
As a Healthcare Support Worker you will be working at the heart of our multidisciplinary teams delivering high quality, patient-centred care. This will require you to be able to communicate effectively with a broad range of individuals, both verbally and in writing, to share our commitment to maintaining high standards in everything we do, and to demonstrate that you can work effectively within a team that behaves in accordance with our vision and values.
We are seeking to recruit people who are committed to delivering outstanding patient care, taking pride in what they do and are enthusiastic, reliable, hardworking and motivated to learn and develop. The post will be based in Acute Medicine for the Elderly East (Ward 16), which is a 24 bedded unit that supports a 48-72 hour patient journey. This area provides inpatient care which is patient-centred and aims to maximise each patient's potential for recovery, supported by an excellent Multi Disciplinary Team.
You will be expected to work a variety of rotational day and night shifts, including weekends.
