QA/QP Assistant Vacancy

Salary - £23,960 annual salary, Mon-Fri 8:00AM – 4:30PM (38.75 hours P/W)

We are fully managed and regulatory compliant, sourcing imported medicines for specific patient needs. The company is experiencing growth at the moment, providing a much needed healthcare service.
We currently have an exciting QA/QP Assistant opportunity in our Quest 22 site. The successful candidate will be a key player in our Quality team and the role is aimed to provide support to the QA Manager in maintaining site GMDP compliance.
Duties & Responsibilities:
QA – Preproduction:
* Performing a full check of documentation, componentry and samples to ensure that each job is suitable for release to production. This includes preparations of samples.
QP Assistant:
* Performing pre-QP checks of batches prior to QP certification; including sampling and photographs;
* Support the remote certification process;
* Return samples to the job, and application of release labels to stock.
Addressograph:
* Perform QA checks on packs with an addressograph applied.
Incoming components:
* Generate component specifications as required for new components;
* Perform and record checks on incoming components, releasing them for use in Production;
* Perform Blank Label release for use in label print.
Quality system:
* Communicate issues identified to the QPs, QAOs, QA Manager or Production, generating incidents as required;
* Perform any other ad-hoc and system-related duties as required by either the QA Manager or Qualified Persons;
* Ensuring any quality incidents such as deviations, for example, are progressed in accordance with set deadlines;
* Assist the QA team in the progression of deviations found during QA reviews
* Make use of electronic QMS solutions, such as QPulse
Successful Candidate Requirements
* A capable and confident communicator
* An understanding of current Good Manufacturer Practice expectations
* A good understanding of the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector in the UK
* Experience working with electronic QMS solutions such as QPulse
* Flexible approach to work
* Ability to complete documentation correctly and efficiently
* Ability to work alone or as part of a team
* Attention to detail
