A rapidly expanding service-sector business in Leeds is looking for a qualified/passed finalist ACCA/CIMA/ACA Senior Management Accountant to join its growing finance team. This newly created role will play a pivotal part in that journey. Working closely with the Finance Director, you will take ownership of key financial processes, support strategic decision-making, and contribute directly to the company’s ongoing expansion.
Key Responsibilities will include:
* Produce full monthly management accounts, partnering with the Finance Director to deliver clear, insightful commentary for board reporting.
* Analyse budgets and performance, identifying trends, risks, and commercial opportunities while building strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
* Mentor and support junior CIMA/ACCA trainees, delegating effectively and helping shape the development of the wider finance team.
* Play a central role in future acquisitions, supporting due diligence, systems integration, and process improvements alongside the MD and FD.
* Act as a key contact for external partners - including banks, auditors, and private equity, supporting business-critical communication and decisions.
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate:
* Qualified or past finalist ACCA/CIMA/ACA, with experience as a Management Accountant, Financial Accountant, or similar.
* SME experience helpful but not essential – what matters is a proven track record, a proactive approach, and strong commercial awareness.
