Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare and deliver learning activities under the direction of a teacher, or independently where appropriate. Cover classes in the short-term absence of the teacher. Lead small group and 1:1 interventions to raise attainment and support pupil progress. Assess, monitor, and record pupils' achievements to provide feedback to teachers. Support children's social, emotional, and behavioural development. Work in partnership with teachers to contribute to planning and curriculum delivery. Assist with the preparation of learning resources and classroom organisation. Supervise pupils during non-teaching times (e.g., playtimes, lunchtimes, trips). Uphold safeguarding, equality and behaviour policies consistently. Person Specification Essential: HLTA status, Level 6 Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent.
