With a commitment to sustainability, they offer employees the opportunity to work for a company that is making a positive impact on the environment.

Compensation
£33,000 – £35,000 (commensurate upon experience) plus benefits.

The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity for an experienced food technician to contribute to manufacturing excellence on an international scale. You will be important in improving product and process optimization, building resilient supplier partnerships, and working on projects that elevate quality, safety, and operational efficiency across a global supply network.

This is a maternity leave coverage (12-month fixed-term contract) offering remote, home-based work but with regular travel to production sites in France, Poland, and Turkey.
Position Description

This position places you at the heart of technical innovation and supply-chain growth. Your contributions will not only strengthen production capabilities and broaden sourcing strategies but also directly support the company's mission to deliver consistent quality, develop its people, and ensure long-term business success.

* Supplier Approvals & Compliance Coordinate and maintain the supplier approval process by collecting, reviewing, and organizing documentation to ensure vendors meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Support supplier audits, track approval status, and follow up on outstanding requirements.
* Corrective Actions & Issue Resolution Monitor supplier performance and assist with corrective actions when non-conformances are identified. Document issues, communicate requirements directly, and ensure timely resolution while maintaining professional supplier relationships.
* Supplier Communication & Coordination Serve as a clear and effective liaison with suppliers—comfortable addressing concerns directly, setting expectations, and "getting to the point" to ensure efficient outcomes.
* Product & Process Documentation Support the validation of new product specifications and manufacturing methods by coordinating documentation, scheduling trials, and assisting with R&D collaboration.
* Costing & Bills of Materials Prepare, update, and maintain costing data and bills of materials (BOMs) for both new and existing products, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
* Equipment & Production Support Assist in documenting equipment use and record updates related to freeze-drying recipes, packaging methods, and production cycles. Process Improvement Administration Provide administrative support for process improvement initiatives, including tracking updates, compiling data, and maintaining records that support hygiene, safety, and quality goals.
* Food Safety & HACCP Support Participate in HACCP activities by keeping records current, assisting with audits, and supporting compliance with food safety and global regulatory standards.
* Cross-Functional Coordination Act as a point of contact to facilitate communication across departments (production, quality, maintenance, logistics, commercial) and with external partners, ensuring smooth information flow.

Experience
Advanced education or equivalent hands-on expertise in industrial processes, engineering, or related technical fields, combined with strong project-management skills.

Qualifications

* Proven knowledge of manufacturing flows, safety standards, and regulatory compliance, ideally within complex, multi-site operations.
* Technical know-how along with strong project management skills.
* A creative and dynamic mindset, with the autonomy and adaptability to thrive in fast-moving environments.
* Fluency in English and the ability to communicate confidently across international teams and cultures.

Education

A post-secondary education in industrial processes, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
