Management Accountant - £42000 - £45000 per annum - Belfast
Your new company Our client is a growing business and a market leader within their sector, working across the UK and Ireland. They are currently seeking a Management Accountant to join their successful Finance team based in. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an established company that emphasises development and career growth.Your new role As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions in accordance with UK GAAP and relevant legislation. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Managing month and year-end reporting, as well as assisting with group interactions.
* Supporting external audits, VAT/Tax/Customs returns, and company cashflow forecasting.
* Preparing management accounts, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and providing cost visibility to managers.
* Assisting in budget preparation, forecast deadlines, and VAT returns.
* Collaborating with external auditors and ensuring effective ABL facility management.
What you'll need to succeed To excel in this role, you will ideally be:
* A Qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) or qualified by experience.
* Proficient in financial accounting up to trial balance and ideally management accounts.
* Highly skilled in Excel (including pivot tables and lookups).
* Experienced in finance systems, processes, and accounting principles.
* Comfortable working in a busy, high-pressure finance environment, with exceptional attention to detail.
