Salary: £29,951.65 per annum

About the Role
We are excited to welcome applications from newly qualified social workers eager to kickstart their careers in fostering. As a Supervising Social Worker, you will:
* Support and empower foster carers and their families to achieve outstanding outcomes for children and young people in care.
* Monitor the suitability and competence of foster carers, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
* Provide regular supervision to allocated foster carers in line with FCA's Operational Standards.
* Work collaboratively to identify and meet the needs of foster families, including respite and activities.
* Ensure compliance with all key documentation for children and foster carers.
* Attend meetings and provide reports for commissioning teams regarding individual care packages.
* Promote the participation of children and young people in agency development and local opportunities.
* Participate in an 'out of hours' support service on a rota basis.
* Conduct occasional initial home visits and Form F Assessments.
You Must Have
* A Social Work qualification
* Professional registration with Social Work England or equivalent
* Proven ability to produce high-quality reports
* A comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and child safeguarding procedures
* The willingness and ability to travel extensively (including occasional nights away)
* Confidence in transporting children and young people in challenging situations
* A full driving licence
