Tasks
In this role, you will:
* Support teachers in delivering tailored learning activities that meet diverse student needs.
* Assist pupils in grasping lesson content and developing essential skills.
* Contribute to a supportive, engaging learning atmosphere that motivates every learner.
* Observe and record student development, offering input and encouragement.
* Prepare and organise learning materials.
* Participate in school events.
* Work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored support to students with a range of SEN.
* Create engaging learning experiences and assist with classroom management.
* Help students develop essential life skills.
Skills
We are looking for someone with:
* Experience in a school setting providing non-teaching support (preferred, but not essential).
* Enhanced DBS which is on updated Service
* Legal Right to work in UK
* Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with students and staff.
* Background in offering care and support to learners with SEN (desirable).
* A calm, patient nature with the ability to handle varying behaviours and learning paces.
* A willingness to learn and adapt to different school environments.
