We are currently recruiting for a Librarian for our client based in Enniskillen. The successful candidate will be required to start once the vetting paperwork and ANI completed. Start date: ASAP Rate of pay: £18.48 Duration: Approximately 5 months Hours of work: 37 (flexible working applies depending on business needs) Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing the Campus Library services and maintaining efficient and effective management systems and procedures to optimise staff, student and other user’s learning experiences;
2. Ensuring the delivery and management of professional library information and archive services, including development of appropriate marketing and promotional activities, identification of customer needs and provision of reference and enquiry services;
3. Identifying opportunities and advising College management on the development and use of communication and learning technology including the integration of learning resources (including eLearning) within the College’s managed learning environment;
4. Managing the learning environment in the library, including the supervision of students working on group based projects, private study and open access IT resources attached to the library;
5. Liaising with the other librarians on the common functions of the library service across the three CAFRE campuses and with DAERA / NICS library as appropriate;
6. Managing the induction and training and rota of library support staff;
7. Managing library administrative support staff (where applicable) and library budgets to ensure best value for money;
8. Any other duties in line with the business needs of CAFRE, FFRAG and DAERA.
9. Other duties in line with the needs of DAERA, including driving a Departmental vehicle.

Essential Criteria applicants must have:
10. Degree
11. At least one year’s experience working within a library, a library in an educational institution, a public library, or in a professional technical library.
(Proof of certs required)
12. Excellent IT skills, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
13. Excellent communication skills.
14. Proven ability to use own initiative.
