Duties and responsibilities related to the Bartender role Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer requests. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking drink orders, and engaging politely with customers. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and keeping surfaces sanitary. Check customer identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance and responsible alcohol service. Handle cash and card transactions accurately, including operating the point-of-sale (POS) system and balancing the cash drawer. Monitor customer behavior to prevent overconsumption and ensure a safe, comfortable environment. Restock bar supplies and inventory, including beverages, garnishes, and bar tools. Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including proper food handling and alcohol service policies.
