GSL Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated Sports Coach to join a vibrant school in Sheffield. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and young people, using sport as a tool to build confidence, improve behaviour, and encourage healthy lifestyles. As a Sports Coach, you will: Support the delivery of PE lessons and extracurricular sports activities. Encourage participation, teamwork, and positive attitudes towards physical education. Work with pupils individually or in small groups to develop skills and confidence. Promote discipline, focus, and self-motivation through structured activities. Assist teachers in managing classroom and sports field behaviour. Act as a positive role model, fostering respect, inclusion, and resilience among students. Requirements for Sports Coach: Experience working with children or young people in a school or sports setting. A background in sports coaching or a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 Coaching Certificate or equivalent). Strong communication, leadership, and behaviour management skills. A proactive and supportive approach to engaging pupils of all abilities. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
