Personal assistant – Part Time
We are looking for a reliable and trustworthy personal assistant to support a 34‑year‑old young man with cerebral palsy in the Middleton and Leeds area.
Working: 11 hours per week, Monday‑Wednesday morning or afternoon. Pay: £12.71 per hour.
Requirements:
* Full UK driving licence and own car (fuel allowance provided).
* Must have a valid blue badge for parking.
* Non‑smoker or vaper.
* Reference and DBS check required.
* Childcare must be in place.
* Ability to reassure and explain when needed, e.g. fire alarm.
Responsibilities:
* Assist with community outings (cinema, bowling, shopping, sports, music).
* Help with mobility – use only lifts, no stairs or escalators.
* Provide companionship; support socialisation.
* Explain and reassure during challenges.
* Help with personal care and transportation.
