HR Coordinator – Hartwell Automotive Group
Hartwell Automotive Group is a long-established automotive retail business with over a century of heritage in the UK motor industry. With multiple dealership locations and partnerships with leading automotive manufacturers and emerging new brands, the group continues to evolve and grow.
We are now looking for a HR Coordinator to join our central team in Wootton, Oxfordshire. This role will provide essential administrative and coordination support to our leadership team and dealership network.
The Role
This is a varied role supporting day-to-day HR administration across the group. You will work closely with the Company Secretary and operational managers to ensure people processes run efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
1. Coordinate onboarding and new starter processes
2. Support compliance processes including right to work checks
3. Coordinate and track employee reviews
4. Support recruitment administration and interview scheduling
5. Distribute candidate offer letters and other employee contract changes
6. Maintain accurate HR records and employee documentation, including uploading paper files to HR on-line platform
7. Assist with the updating and preparation of HR policies and procedures
8. Assist managers with the preparation of HR documentation and provide general support during HR processes, such as grievances, disciplinary hearing etc
9. Attend (either in person or via Teams) employee/manager meetings disciplinary, flexible working requests including preparing accurate meeting minutes for distribution
10. Organise and monitor internal training courses
11. Provide first point of contact for dealership and employee HR queries
