As the Maintenance Lead, you will support in the delivery of maintenance services, ensuring safe, high quality environments for all patients, staff and visitors across Schoen Clinic York. The maintenance lead will need to be able to manage maintenance task and risks and prioritise their workload affectively in order to minimise Operational & Health and Safety impacts. The role will be required to oversee appointed maintenance contractors and ensure that work is completed in accordance with company health and safety guidelines. As well as meeting appropriate quality, performance standards and commercial rigor to seek best value in the delivery of planned and reactive FM services.

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for all day to day maintenance issues and activity.
Responsible for the management of all planned maintenance tasks including undertaking all site mandated checks and updating site log books.
Possess a basic level of skills allowing them to undertake general upkeep, repairs and testing duties
Support the Senior Leadership Team in the management and delivery of maintenance duties
Responsible for reporting any defects, risks or concerns to the operations manager
Manage visits from all contractors to ensure all jobs are completed in line with Control of Contractors Policy
Cover OOH emergency calls on a rota basis
Management of the planned maintenance programme including all remedial defects to certify statutory or regulatory compliance
Carries out regular building checks to safeguard quality and compliance standards
Work with Schoen Health and Safety specialist on relevant policies, incident management and reporting
Skills & requirements As the MaintenanceLead, you will have qualifications from a trade background (Example, plumbing, electrician or equivalent) or you will have experience of working within maintenance and extensive experience of carrying out repairs, general decoration, basic electrical, plumbing and carpentry.
