Quality Engineer - Marine & Outdoor Living Technology

You'll be based at modern, purpose-built headquarters just outside Topsham. Facilities include dedicated test workshops, design studios and collaborative spaces, all set in a stunning location - 20 minutes from the coast, and 20 minutes from Dartmoor. It's an inspiring place to work and play.
The Role
As the new Quality Engineer, you will:
* Lead internal audits and drive continuous improvement across the business.
* Work with design, production and supply chain teams to ensure products meet rigorous quality standards.
* Oversee product compliance for global regulations, staying ahead of industry changes.
* Manage customer returns and supplier non-conformance investigations.
* Take ownership of testing facilities, schedules and standards, ensuring a culture of excellence.
* Play a hands-on role in testing, risk assessments (FMEA), and product verification.
What You'll Bring
* ISO9001 Quality Management Systems experience.
* HNC (Level 4) or above in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
* Strong problem-solving, auditing and project management skills.
* 5+ years' industry experience, ideally with exposure to 5S/6S, RCCA, and PPAP.
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and manage multiple priorities.
* Experience with global compliance (CE, UKCA, RoHS, REACH, Prop 65) is a strong advantage.
