Overview
The role provides administrative support to our patients, including booking appointments, issuing letters, and answering patient queries. The post holder will co-ordinate outpatient clinics and support clinical colleagues, working within one of four Specialty Management Groups to provide a comprehensive, efficient and effective administrative service to meet Trust waiting time targets and enhance patient experience. The post holder will work flexibly within the dental team to provide high quality dental care for a wide spectrum of patients. This is a multi-skilled and multi-tasked role; the post holder will be expected to be flexible and rotate with other team members to ensure cover across other Specialty Management Groups as required.
Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support to patients, including booking appointments, issuing letters, and answering patient queries.
* Co-ordinate outpatient clinics and support clinical colleagues.
* Work within one of four Specialty Management Groups to deliver a comprehensive, efficient and effective administrative service.
* Contribute to meeting the Trusts patient waiting time targets and enhance patient experience.
* Manage own workload and maintain up-to-date knowledge of all services within Specialty Management Groups to handle service-related queries.
* Be flexible and rotate with other team members to provide cover across other Specialty Management Groups as required.
