About the Company
This is a rare opportunity to join a sustainability-led digital infrastructure business delivering over 500MW of capacity for some of the world’s largest technology companies across EMEA and APAC.
About the Role
Reporting into the Customer Solutions Director, this position is central to how technical solutions are shaped and communicated. You’ll be responsible for leading technical RFP responses and helping to translate engineering inputs into commercially sound, client-ready proposals. You’ll be joining a close-knit customer solutions team, where current leadership includes expertise in mechanical design. A background in electrical engineering or a complementary discipline would be ideal, helping to round out the team's capability.
Responsibilities
 * Lead and manage the full lifecycle of technical RFP and SAQ responses across the organisation’s data centre portfolio.
 * Coordinate inputs from engineering, commercial, construction, and operations teams.
 * Review and refine proposals to ensure clarity, feasibility, and compliance with customer expectations.
 * Act as a liaison between technical teams and clients, simplifying complexity while ensuring accuracy.
 * Support the creation of high-quality, contract-ready documentation and technical narratives.
 * Continually enhance internal tools, templates, and response strategies.
 * Ensure all outputs align with the company’s sustainability targets and operational capabilities.
Qualifications
 * UK-based, ideally London or commutable.
 * Electrical engineering background strongly preferred, but not essential if highly capable in all other areas.
 * Experience in technical project management, bids, or customer delivery—ideally in data centres, consultancy, or GC environments.
 * Strong candidates from consultancies or standout GC teams will be considered.
 * Experience working with end clients or hyperscalers is highly desirable.
 * Familiar with infrastructure systems such as power, cooling, and connectivity.
 * Comfortable with technical documentation, compliance, and stakeholder alignment.
 * Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Bluebeam Revu is a bonus.
 * A mindset geared toward process improvement and collaboration.
 * Candidates without a formal technical qualification may be considered—but must demonstrate exceptional capability across project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and solution design.
