As a Lecturer within our Engineering Technologies team, you must hold an Electrical Engineering qualification to a minimum of SCQF Level 7, ideally having completed a recognised apprenticeship. You must have evidence of appropriate continuous professional development and commercial experience at supervisory level within a relevant trade. You must be able to demonstrate an understanding of electrical engineering systems theory and workshop practices. Experience of instrumentation, electrical safety, electrical machines, electrical networks (DC and AC) is essential. Teaching experience is desirable although not essential. Candidates with strong communication skills and positive, supportive attitudes will be considered.
