Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Middlesbrough for an Account Executive. The Account Executive will be responsible for nurturing relationships within our existing customer database while actively expanding your own portfolio of customers, for both consumable items and machinery servicing. You’ll play a key part in achieving sales targets and delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence.


Duties

* Manage a portfolio of existing customer accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders in the businesses.
* Identify and engage new contacts at regional and national levels to expand account reach.
* Develop and implement account plans to ensure regular communication and issue resolution.
* Attend project, planning, and account review meetings
* Participate in daily and monthly team meetings, reporting on existing customer account activities.
* Drive customer engagement through targeted outreach and activity generation.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to align e-marketing campaigns with account strategies.
* Identify and pursue growth opportunities within existing accounts.
* Continuously seek ways to enhance the customer experience.


Qualifications

* Experience in Sales, Account Management, and Customer Relationship Management
* Knowledge of waste management equipment such as balers, compactors, and shredders
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Negotiation and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
* Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or related field is a plus
* Previous experience in the waste management industry is beneficial
