We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Administrator to join the team at HMP Garth, a Category B male prison in Leyland. The prison houses around 1500 men with a variety of health needs and within this role, you’ll play an integral part in providing exceptional care for our patients.
This is a brand new role created due to growth, and is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career! You will be leading the growing admin function, which supports all healthcare pathways here onsite.
Salary
This position is full time, working 37.5 hours per week and you’ll receive an annual salary of £29,264 - £33,510 ‬per annum - depending on experience.
Hours
For this full time role, you will be working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Shifts are 08:00 - 16:00.

What you'll be doing
As our new Senior Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
Be responsible for line managing the admin team, including delegating tasks and being the first point of contact
Minute take in meetings, including the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), as well as gather and collate data and information, and collate into a presentation for the meeting chair to deliver
Carry out admin duties all healthcare pathways - primary care, mental health and substance misuse
Arrange healthcare appointments for patients
Use SystmOne to update and maintain patient records
Work closely with colleagues in other areas of the healthcare team
Arrange and coordinate internal and external appointments, including hospital appointments

Our new Senior Administrator will have:

Experience of managing / supervising a team, ideally an admin team, although we can consider other functions
Experience within an admin role - ideally from a healthcare environment, but this isn't essential
Any healthcare experience would be a bonus
Any experience of using healthcare systems, such as SystmOne / EMIS would be beneficial
Confident in using data, maintaining databases and producing reports
